 Kitten Foster/Adoption Program Coordinator
 
MADACC handles an estimated 13,400 animals annually from all 19 municipalities that form Milwaukee County. Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Kitten Foster/Adoption Program Coordinator.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MADACC is seeking an enthusiastic, people-person to coordinate a new Best Friends grant sponsored kitten foster/adoption program. This is an 8-month long, hourly, contract position (no benefits will be provided) and position will terminate upon completion of the grant. Responsibilities include working with staff, volunteers, and foster families to facilitate transfer of kittens into foster, scheduling follow up appointments and sterilization surgeries, being on-call for overnight emergencies, creating supporting documentation for fosters, adopters and internal SOPs, recruiting and managing large number of foster families, marketing, and managing supply inventory. Estimate approximately 30 hours per week. Reliable vehicle with valid license and must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
